Who runs this blog?
“J” for Japanese is run by an ordinary Japanese working mother, Marshall. She currently lives in Chiba prefecture with her husband, daughter and a white Shiba Inu.
What is this blog about?
This blog introduces things about a life in Japan. Since many articles are written from Marshall’s experience, the accuracy of the articles are not guaranteed,
but I try to give you as accurate information as possible.
However, please take the articles here as just an example and use them for a reference.
Who is Marshall and why did she start this blog?
I started this blog because when I got married with my husband who is a non-Japanese, he seemed he had huge gaps between his image of living in Japan before and after coming to Japan for long term stay.
After his 5 years, he seems to get used to his life in Japan but I could see he got a lot of struggles to come to this point.
I thought I don’t want someone I love to hate where I grew up and I don’t want people who only have a knowledge of positive side of Japan and regret after moving into Japan by finding negative side of it.
Everything has its positive and negative side, every single thing does.
Hope you will find the both positive and negative side of Japan through this blog and give you a little tips for living in Japan.
